Working closely with Stephen Feber Ltd, we have recently produced a range of exhibits for the World Heritage Heartlands Project, a £35 million transformation of the Cornish ‘Robinson Shaft’ tin and copper mine into a unique cultural space.

Our stunning central, 270° immersive film uses 8 HD projectors to cover an immense 30 metres of wall space in one of the site’s abandoned buildings. The film conveys the rich history and social impact of tin mining in Cornwall through a combination of arresting graphics and powerful dramatic imagery.

The technical challenges of filming and editing this ultra panoramic show including full seamless landscapes certainly tested our in house post-production facilities to the limit. An abstract score using quotes from historic texts, letters, song lyrics and poetry is woven together with evocative animated sequences and beautifully shot footage to create a truly moving and memorable experience.
