‘Ships, Clocks & Stars: The Quest for Longitude’ is an exhibition developed by the National Maritime Museum to mark the 300th anniversary of the Longitude Act.

Centre Screen produced several large scale projections and an audioscape, which tell the story of the quest to determine longitude whilst at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries.

The imaginative exhibits help to provide context for visitors, emphasising why the accurate measurement of longitude at sea was vitally important and the impact it has had on our world today.
