A Happy Day at ‘Destination Florida’

27. March 2014

We wish to congratulate Mike Hymanson, Chairman of Destination Florida, who receives his MBE tomorrow at Buckingham Palace for his inspiring charitable work with young people.

Every two years the children’s charity ‘Destination Florida’ takes 74 children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses on the trip of a lifetime to the theme parks of the sunshine state. The trip isn’t just about the ten day holiday, but also the life-long positive effect that the trip can have on the children and their families.
